The Smart Dentist
A complete, modern solution for managing your dental practice. Track patients and procedures, schedule appointments, generate invoices, and view detailed reports — all synced to iCloud across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Version 5.0 adds a shared Dental Practice for your whole team, a Clinic Assistant and Visit Brief powered by Apple Intelligence, an Audit Log, and Clinic Backup.
How do I set up my clinic?
Open Settings and configure your clinic name, logo, address, phone number, and tax details. This information is automatically applied to all invoices, receipts, and reports generated within the app.
How do I add a new patient?
Tap the + button on the Patients tab and enter the patient's name, contact information, and medical history. You can also import directly from your device's Contacts. Each patient profile maintains a complete record of procedures, billing, and treatment plans.
How do I record a procedure?
Open a patient's profile and navigate to the Procedures section. Tap + to document a new procedure, attach before-and-after photos, X-rays, and clinical notes. All media is securely stored within the patient's record.
How do I schedule appointments?
Use the Appointments tab to create and manage your schedule. Appointments sync automatically with your device calendar, and you can configure reminders for both yourself and your patients to reduce no-shows.
How do I create invoices?
Navigate to the Billing section within a patient's profile. Tap + to create a new invoice, add line items with quantities and pricing, apply discounts or tax, and send the generated PDF directly via email or the share sheet.
What reports are available?
The Reports tab provides a comprehensive overview of your practice, including revenue analysis, procedure statistics, patient demographics, and financial summaries. Filter by time period and drill down into detailed breakdowns with interactive charts.
How do treatment plans work?
Open a patient's profile and go to Treatment Plans. Build detailed plans outlining procedures, estimated costs, and timelines. Plans can be printed or shared with patients as PDFs for review and approval.
What is the Secretary Login?
Secretary Login is a restricted access mode that allows your front-desk staff to manage appointments and patient scheduling without access to financial data, clinical notes, or sensitive medical records. Enable it in Settings and configure a separate passcode.
What's new in version 5.0?
Four things. Dental Practice lets you share your clinic with your staff so everyone works on the same patients, appointments and billing, live, each on their own device. Clinic Assistant answers questions about your clinic from your own records. Visit Brief gives you a one-tap prep summary before a patient sits down. Audit Log shows who changed what, and when, across the whole practice. Plus a new Clinic Backup for moving your clinic to a new Apple ID.
What is a Dental Practice and how do I set one up?
A Dental Practice is your clinic shared with the people who work in it. Open Settings ▸ Dental Practice, run the readiness check, and tap Convert to Practice — this needs a Practice plan and a device on iOS 26 or later. Your existing patients, procedures, billing and settings become the practice's shared records; nothing is re-entered. You stay the owner: only you can invite or remove staff and stop the practice, and the records live in your own iCloud, never on a ZaatarLABS server.
What happens when I create a practice?
Open Settings ▸ Dental Practice and run the readiness check first: it confirms your clinic has finished uploading to iCloud. Convert to Practice then moves your whole clinic — patients, procedures, billing, X-rays and settings — into a practice that lives in your own iCloud. Nothing is re-entered and no invoice number changes. For a large clinic the move can take from minutes to a few hours because iCloud paces the upload; the screen shows progress, keep the app open and the device on power, and anything you add meanwhile joins the practice too. When it finishes you can invite staff. You stay the owner: only you invite or remove people, stop the practice, and set the practice's currency and tax. Your other iPhone, iPad or Mac on the same Apple Account are recognised as the owner automatically, even after reinstalling the app. Everything your staff add is stored in your iCloud and counts toward your iCloud storage — Settings ▸ iCloud Sync tells you if it runs full. Restoring a clinic backup is not possible while you host a practice, because it would replace the practice for everyone.
How do I invite my staff?
Settings ▸ Dental Practice ▸ Add Staff Member. Enter the email address of the person's Apple Account, tap Send Invite Link and share the link the app creates (it starts with zaatarlabs.com/dentist/join). On their iPhone or iPad — running iOS 26 or later, signed in to iCloud with that same Apple Account, with The Smart Dentist installed — they open the link and tap Join. The practice's records download to their device and everything they add or change appears on yours within moments. If they had their own clinic on that device, it is archived to a backup file in Files before they join, so nothing is lost.
What happens when I join a practice?
If the device already holds a clinic of its own, the app first saves it to a backup file (“Pre-Practice Backup” with the date and time, in Files ▸ The Smart Dentist) and only then clears it — if the backup can't be written, the join is cancelled and nothing is touched. Because that file lives inside the app, the app offers to save a copy to Files, so it survives even if the app is deleted. Your own clinic is cleared from your other devices on the same Apple Account as well, and they join the practice with you. The practice's records then download in the background; for a large practice this can take a while and patients appear as they arrive. Until the practice itself has arrived, new records wait rather than being saved outside it. You get your own seat number for invoices and receipts (for example 2-1001). You don't need a subscription, and the practice's currency, tax and backups are managed by the owner. Reinstalling the app or using a new device keeps your membership. You can belong to one practice at a time — leave the current one before joining another.
Do my staff need to subscribe?
No. One Practice plan covers the whole practice — every doctor, every device. Staff never subscribe; their access comes with your plan. If a staff member opens the subscription screen, it tells them exactly that.
What is the difference between the Solo and Practice plans?
Solo unlocks unlimited patients and every feature for one dentist on all their own devices. Practice adds the shared Dental Practice for your team, with the Audit Log across every device. Both are available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Moving from Solo to Practice is an upgrade of the same subscription — you never pay for two plans at once, and the App Store credits the unused part of your Solo period.
What happens if the Practice plan lapses?
Nothing is deleted and nobody is locked out of their records. Apple gives you a 14-day billing grace period first. After that, the whole practice — you and your staff — drops to the free tier: everyone can still open and edit everything, but no new patients, procedures or treatment plans can be added until you renew. Renew from Settings ▸ Dental Practice ▸ Renew Practice Plan and everyone is unblocked at the next sync, no reinstall needed. Switching your own plan to Solo has the same effect for your staff, so the app warns you before you do.
How are invoice and receipt numbers handled in a practice?
Each person numbers their own. As the owner, your invoices and receipts continue exactly as before — 1001, 1002 and so on. Every staff member you invite gets their own seat number (2, 3, …) and their invoices and receipts carry it: seat 2 issues 2-1001, 2-1002, seat 3 issues 3-1001. Two people can therefore never issue the same number, even when a device is offline. Seats are never reused: someone who leaves and later rejoins gets their old seat back. A staff member who has just joined sees “Invoice numbers not ready” for the first moments while their seat downloads with the practice — the app never guesses a number.
What happens to invoices that already exist?
A number never changes once it has been issued. Your existing invoices and receipts keep their numbers when you convert to a practice and afterwards. A staff member's own clinic — including their own invoices — is saved to their pre-practice backup before they join and is never mixed into the practice, so those invoices keep their original numbers in that backup. The only renumbering left is when the same person issues the same number on two of their own devices while both are offline: the later one moves to the next free number and the app tells them which one changed.
What happens when I leave a practice, or the owner removes me?
You leave from Settings ▸ Dental Practice ▸ Leave Practice; it needs an internet connection, so let the app sync first — changes that haven't reached iCloud yet are lost when you leave. The practice's records are then removed from your devices only: the practice keeps every record, including the invoices and receipts you issued with your seat number. Your device goes back to its own, empty clinic; to get your earlier clinic back, restore your pre-practice backup from Settings ▸ Clinic Backup. You can rejoin later with the same invitation link and you get your old seat back. When the owner removes you, or stops the practice, the same happens on your devices the next time they sync and the app tells you that your access has ended; it always checks with iCloud first, so a reinstall or a slow download is never mistaken for a removal. As the owner, you remove someone from the staff list on the same screen; Stop Practice ends it for everyone and returns your clinic to solo mode with all records intact.
What are Clinic Assistant and Visit Brief, and what do they need?
Clinic Assistant is a chat with your own clinic: what you are owed, who is in today, what you billed last month, which patients are overdue. Visit Brief is a one-tap summary on a patient's sheet — history, follow-ups, allergies, balance — written before they sit down. Both are powered by Apple Intelligence and read only your own records. They need an iPhone or iPad that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later, iPad with M1 or later, or iPad mini with A17 Pro) on iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. On iOS 27 the larger Apple model on Private Cloud Compute is used when available. If your device does not qualify, the buttons simply do not appear and everything else works as before.
Where do the AI answers go? Is my patient data used to train anything?
Nowhere. The model runs on your device or on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which Apple designs so that not even Apple can read the request. Your records never reach ZaatarLABS, no other company, and nothing is used for training. The assistant only reads what is already in your clinic.
What is the Audit Log?
Reports ▸ Audit Log lists every record added, edited or deleted, with the time and the device it was made on. In a Dental Practice it covers every member's device, so you can always see who changed what. Entries are kept for a year.
How do I back up my clinic or move it to a new Apple ID?
Settings ▸ Clinic Backup ▸ Export writes one archive file with every patient, procedure, photo, X-ray, invoice and setting. Turn on Encrypt with passphrase to protect it. Restore it from the same screen on any device — including one signed in to a different Apple ID — and the clinic comes back exactly as it was. Restoring is a solo-clinic feature: a device that is part of a Dental Practice must leave the practice first.
What do I need to run it?
The Smart Dentist runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later and on Mac. Dental Practice (creating one or joining one) needs iOS or iPadOS 26 or later and an iCloud account on every device. Clinic Assistant and Visit Brief need Apple Intelligence — see above.
What permissions does the app require?
The app may request access to Notifications (appointment reminders), Camera (X-rays and clinical photos), Calendar (appointment sync), and Contacts (patient import). All permissions are optional — the app is fully functional without them.
The Smart Coach
Know where you left off with every client, and who still owes you. Session notes with #themes, appointments, bills made from the sessions you've logged, partial payments and advances, expenses and reports. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, with no account and nothing for your clients to log in to.
How do I set up my practice?
Open Settings. Under Practice, add your practice name, phone, email and logo, your name as the coach, your currency, and your VAT rate and VAT number if you charge VAT. Under Sessions & Pricing, set your session types and their prices. You can also write an Invoice Footer and an Onboarding Message. These details go on your invoices, receipts and client documents.
How do I add a client?
Tap + on the Clients tab, then type the client in or use Import from Contacts. Each client keeps their sessions, appointments, bills, advance payments and attachments, with call, message, WhatsApp and email buttons at the top.
How do I record a session?
Open the client and tap New Session. Choose the session type, the date, and write your notes during or after the meeting. Type a word with # in front, such as #confidence, to tag a theme: it highlights as you type, and search finds every session it came up in. The client's screen then shows the last session's notes and a timeline of every session. Session notes, step by step.
How do I schedule appointments?
Add an appointment from the dashboard or from the client's appointments. Give it a time zone by picking the client's city for remote sessions, and repeat it weekly, every two weeks or monthly. With Calendar Sync on in Settings, appointments go into a Smart Coach calendar on your device.
How do I bill sessions?
Open the client's Unbilled Sessions, tick the sessions to bill, check the running total and tap Create Bill. The invoice number is filled in for you; add a discount and a due date. With a VAT rate set in Settings, the PDF is a VAT Invoice with your VAT number. Share the PDF to WhatsApp, Mail or any app from the share sheet. Invoicing coaching sessions.
How do partial payments and advance payments work?
On the invoice, add a receipt for whatever arrived, in full or in part; an invoice can have several receipts, each a PDF you can send. Record an advance payment on the client and see the remaining balance; when you create their next bill, the advance is applied to it automatically.
What's free, and what does Premium cost?
Free covers up to 2 clients. Premium unlocks unlimited clients and workshops: $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year, or Lifetime for $79.99 once, with no renewals. US prices; local App Store prices vary. One purchase covers your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your App Store settings; Settings → Subscription in the app shows your plan.
Can my clients pay or book through the app?
No. There is no card payment, payment link, checkout or booking page, and no client portal or client app. Clients pay you the way they already do and you record the payment; you schedule appointments yourself.
Does it remind my clients?
Nothing is sent to a client automatically. On the dashboard, Remind next to an appointment opens a ready-written reminder that you send by SMS or WhatsApp. For you, Settings has a Morning Briefing (8 AM), Appointment Reminders (the evening before at 8 PM) and Overdue Payment Alerts (Mondays at 9 AM). To chase a payment, message the client yourself from their screen in one tap.
How do I track expenses and scan receipts?
Use the Expenses tab to log costs with a description, category, date and amount, mark them paid or not paid, attach the receipt, and link them to a client or a workshop if you like. Scan Receipt fills in the vendor, amount and date from a photo for you to check; on iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence it also suggests one of your categories. Expenses count in your Profit and Expenses reports.
What reports are available?
Revenue, Profit, Expenses, Activity, Clients and VAT Export, for a month, a year or a custom range; Revenue and Profit can be filtered by client. Each report exports as a PDF.
What do the Client Brief and Practice Assistant need?
iOS, iPadOS or macOS 26 or later on a device with Apple Intelligence turned on. The Client Brief sums up a client's recurring #themes, what the last session covered, how long it has been and what is owed. The Practice Assistant, opened from the sparkles button on the dashboard, answers questions about your practice from your own records; it can read your data but never change it. Both run through Apple Intelligence, on your device or in Apple's Private Cloud Compute, never a third-party AI. If Apple Intelligence isn't available, they're hidden and the rest of the app works as before.
Does it work offline, and do I need an account?
It works offline, and there is no account or login. Your records are stored in the app and sync between your iPhone, iPad and Mac through your own iCloud when you're online.
Where is my data?
Your clients, notes and bills are stored in the app on your device and, with iCloud, in your own iCloud account, which ZaatarLABS cannot access. From version 4.0.1 on iPhone and iPad, the app can also share limited usage information in fixed categories (never client names, notes, #themes, amounts or anything you type) to help us improve it and measure Apple Ads; you can switch both off in Settings → Privacy. Details are in the privacy policy.
How do I export my data?
Export one session note as a PDF from the session, or all of a client's sessions as a Sessions Report PDF with Export Sessions. Invoices, receipts and the Agreements & Terms document are PDFs you share from the app, and every report exports as a PDF. There is no single backup file: your data lives in your iCloud and appears on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. Smart Coach has no shared or team access between different Apple Accounts.
Is it HIPAA-compliant, and what languages does it support?
Smart Coach is a private-pay practice app for coaches: it is not an EHR, handles no insurance claims and makes no HIPAA claim. The app is in English only today.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes, the same practice on Mac, synced through iCloud. On Mac there is no camera (pick a receipt photo instead), no Coaching Day Live Activity and no Settings → Privacy section, because the usage measurement runs only on iPhone and iPad.
How do I reach support?
Email info@zaatarlabs.com with your question, your app version and, if it helps, a screenshot. We reply to every message.
The Smart Billing
Send an invoice from your phone, and always know who still owes you. Invoices, receipts and quotations in Arabic or English, with VAT when you need it, shared to WhatsApp or Mail; every unpaid bill and how late it is; partial payments, deposits, expenses, stock and reports. On iPhone, iPad and Mac, with no account.
How do I set up my business?
Open Settings and add your business name, logo, phone number, email and currency. Under Tax, set your VAT rate and VAT number if you charge VAT. You can also write an invoice footer. These details go on every invoice, receipt and quotation.
How do I add a client?
Tap + on the Clients tab, then type the client in or use Import from Contacts. Add the client's VAT number if they are VAT-registered. Each client keeps their bills, what they owe, their advance payments and their quotations.
How do I create and send an invoice?
Open the client and tap New Bill. Add line items with quantities and prices, a discount (a percentage or a fixed amount) and a due date; VAT is added on each line when a VAT rate is set. Then open the invoice and share the PDF to WhatsApp, Mail or any other app from the share sheet.
Is there a limit on how many invoices I can send?
No. Plans are priced by clients and businesses, never by invoices. Free covers up to 2 clients. Basic is one business with unlimited clients: $3.99 a month or $39.99 a year. Pro covers every business you run: $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Lifetime is everything in Pro for $149.99 once, with no renewals. US prices; local App Store prices vary. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your App Store settings.
Can I invoice in Arabic?
Yes. The app is fully in Arabic, right to left, as well as English, French, Spanish and Italian. Invoices, receipts and quotations follow the app's language: in Settings → Language, choose العربية for Arabic PDFs or English for English ones, and switch whenever you need. Item names and notes appear as you typed them. Arabic and English invoices, step by step.
How do VAT invoices work?
Set your VAT rate and VAT number in Settings under VAT, and add each VAT-registered client's VAT number. Invoices then show both numbers, the taxable amount and the VAT on each line, and the totals, under a Tax Invoice heading (فاتورة ضريبية in Arabic). You type in your own rate, such as 5%, 15% or 20%. In Reports, VAT Export gives your accountant each invoice and a VAT summary as PDFs. Smart Billing makes and keeps your invoices; it does not file returns or submit anything to a tax authority.
Can clients pay by card from the invoice?
No. Invoices don't include a card, Apple Pay or online payment link. When a client pays by transfer or cash, record the payment on the bill, in full or in part, and send them the PDF receipt.
Does it remind my clients to pay?
No, it reminds you. With Invoice Due Reminders on in Settings, you get a notification 2 days and 1 day before a bill is due; Overdue Alerts follow up 1 day and 7 days after. Top Due Bills on the dashboard shows who owes you and how many days late. From the client's screen you chase them yourself in one tap, on WhatsApp, SMS, a call or email. How to track unpaid invoices.
How do partial payments and advance payments work?
Record any amount against a bill: it shows as partial until the rest is paid, and each receipt shows what was paid before, what was paid now and the balance due. Advance payments (deposits) are recorded from the client's Advance Payments and are applied to their later bills. If you void a bill, the advance it used goes back to the client.
How do I track expenses and scan receipts?
Use the Expenses tab to log costs with a category, date and amount, and mark them paid or unpaid. Tap Scan Receipt to photograph a receipt or pick one from your photos: the vendor, amount and date are filled in for you to check, and on iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence the category too. Expenses count in your profit and cash-flow reports.
What reports are available?
Revenue, Profit, Expenses, Activity, Inventory, Sold Items, Cash, Clients and VAT Export, for any period. Each report exports as a PDF, and the Quick View compares this month's revenue and profit with last month.
Can I manage stock and services?
Yes. Create items and services with prices and stock quantities. Adding an item to a bill takes it out of stock, and a low-stock alert tells you when an item falls to its minimum. The Inventory and Sold Items reports show stock levels and what sold.
Does it work offline, and do I need an account?
It works offline, and there is no account or login. Your data is stored in the app and syncs between your iPhone, iPad and Mac through your own iCloud when you're online.
Where is my data?
Your clients, invoices and expenses are stored in the app on your device and, with iCloud, in your own iCloud account, which ZaatarLABS cannot access. On iPhone and iPad the app can also share limited usage information in fixed categories (never names, amounts, invoice contents or anything you type) to help us improve it and measure Apple Ads; you can switch both off in Settings → Privacy. The Business Assistant uses Apple Intelligence, on your device or in Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Details are in the privacy policy.
How do I export my data?
Export a client's invoices as PDFs from the client's menu (Export All Invoices), your client list as a CSV file from the Clients tab, and any report as a PDF. VAT Export gives your accountant every invoice and a VAT summary. There is no single backup file: your data lives in your iCloud and appears on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. Smart Billing has no shared or team access between different Apple Accounts. CSV import (Settings → Import Data) brings in clients, items, invoices and expenses from another app.
Can I manage more than one business?
Yes, with Pro or Lifetime. Each business is a separate account with its own clients, invoices, expenses, currency and reports. Switch between them from Settings → Accounts or by tapping the business name on the dashboard. Free and Basic cover one business.
What does the Business Assistant need?
iOS 26 or later on a device with Apple Intelligence turned on, in a language Apple Intelligence supports. Ask questions such as “Who owes me the most?” and it answers from your own books; it can read your data but never change it. It runs through Apple Intelligence, on your device or in Apple's Private Cloud Compute.
How do I reach support?
Email info@zaatarlabs.com with your question, your app version and, if it helps, a screenshot. We reply to every message.
My Pizza Calculator
The only pizza dough calculator you'll ever need. Choose a style, set your parameters, and get precise gram-by-gram measurements for flour, water, yeast, and salt — every time.
Which pizza styles are supported?
Neapolitan, New York, Detroit, Sicilian, Pan, Thin & Crispy — plus a Custom style where you can define your own hydration, fermentation time, and dough-ball size.
How do I get a recipe?
Pick a style, enter the number of pizzas, the dough-ball size, the hydration, and the fermentation time and temperature. The app calculates flour, water, yeast, and salt to the gram. You can share or save the recipe for later.
Can I save and reuse my recipes?
Yes — saved recipes live on your device and sync via iCloud across your iPhone and iPad. Edit any saved recipe at any time and your measurements recalculate automatically.
Does the app work offline?
Yes — all calculations run entirely on your device. No network connection is needed.
roCARD
Your smart digital business card. Create your card, flash your QR code, and share your contact details instantly — no paper required. Add it to Apple Wallet for quick access.
How do I create my digital business card?
Open the app and fill in your details — name, title, company, phone number, email, website, and social links. A unique QR code is generated automatically and updates in real time as you make changes.
Do people need the app to scan my QR code?
No. Anyone can scan your QR code using their phone's built-in camera — iPhone, Android, or any modern smartphone. Your contact details are saved directly to their phone as a contact card. No app download is required on their end.
Can I update my card after creating it?
Yes. Edit your details at any time and your QR code updates automatically to reflect the latest information. There is no limit to the number of changes you can make.
Can I add my card to Apple Wallet?
Yes. Tap the Add to Apple Wallet button in the app to store your business card in Wallet for instant access. Double-click your side button to pull up your QR code without even opening the app.
The Smart Trix Calculator
The fastest, cleanest way to score a round of Trix — the rules faithfully modeled, so you just tap who took what. On iPhone, with an Apple Watch companion.
How do I start a game?
Add your four players and begin. The app follows the standard Trix structure — each player takes a kingdom, and you work through the contracts in turn.
Do I have to know the scoring rules?
No. The contracts are modeled for you — King, Queens, Diamonds, Collections and Trix. You tap who took what and the running total is kept correctly, including doublings.
Can I see previous rounds?
Yes. Every round is kept for the whole kingdom, so you can look back at how the score built up rather than relying on memory.
Are there statistics?
Yes. Running standings and game stats are kept across every round you play, so you can see who actually wins over time.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. An Apple Watch companion ships with the app, so the running score is a glance away without passing the phone around the table.
The Smart Hand Calculator
A scoring companion for card night — a flow tuned for speed, so the arithmetic never slows the table down. On iPhone, with an Apple Watch companion, in Arabic and English.
How do I set up a game?
Add your players and start scoring. The flow is built for speed — tap, swipe, done — so you are not fighting the app between hands.
Is the app available in Arabic?
Yes. The app is fully localised in Arabic and English, including right-to-left layout, so the table can play in whichever language it actually speaks.
Can I see how players are doing over time?
Yes. Session stats and player trends are presented in a clean report, so you can see who is really winning rather than who says they are.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. An Apple Watch companion ships in the same app, keeping the running score on your wrist.
The Smart Budget
Private personal finance for iPhone — out now on the App Store. Your spending logs itself: bank texts and notifications become clean, categorized transactions, with no bank login. You just review. Built with Apple Intelligence — on your iPhone or in Apple's Private Cloud Compute; your transactions never reach us or a third party.
Where can I get it?
The Smart Budget is out now on the App Store — download it here. Follow @zaatarlabs on Instagram for updates.
How does "it logs itself" work?
In Settings → Capture, install the shortcut for your bank texts (and, on iOS 27, your bank app's notifications) and switch its automation on. From then on each alert becomes a transaction: the merchant, amount, currency and date are read, the merchant name is cleaned up and a category is picked. On iOS 27 you can also import a PDF, CSV or OFX statement to fill in past months. Step by step: tracking spending from bank texts and importing a bank statement. You can also add a transaction by hand, snap a receipt, or dictate it.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. There is no bank login and no third-party bank connection — how that works. Your transactions never reach us or a third party; no accounts to create, no data sold or shared. iCloud sync is optional and runs through your own Apple ID. Optional anonymous app analytics (never your transactions) can be switched off in Settings → Privacy.
Is it free?
Yes, free to start — unlimited logging and every way to capture (statement import included), plus budgets, goals and incomes; the free history shows the last 45 days. Smart Budget Pro ($2.99/month, $24.99/year or $49.99 once) adds your full history, Smart Insights, all reports and the Money Advisor. The Household plan ($4.99/month, $49.99/year or $99.99 once) adds one shared ledger for two — members don't pay. Every plan supports Apple Family Sharing for up to six family members.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone on iOS 26.4 or later; best on iOS 27 (bank notifications, statement import and the Money Advisor need it). Apple Intelligence features run on supported devices; the app works fully either way.
The Smart Padel
Your group's whole padel life on iPhone — who's playing tonight, who's on court right now, and who actually won. Post a game, everyone taps I'm in, generate a fair Americano schedule, then tap the side that won. The board writes itself. Built entirely on your own iCloud: no accounts, no server.
Where can I get it?
The Smart Padel is on the App Store — download it here. Follow @zaatarlabs on Instagram for updates.
How do people join my group?
Open your group, tap the … menu and choose Invite to Group. Share the link in your group chat — anyone who opens it on an iPhone with the app joins your group and sees the same games, rosters and board. There's nothing to type and no account to create. The link keeps working until an admin stops sharing.
How does scoring work?
Between games, tap the side that won — that's the whole job. The board scores it win 4, draw 2, loss 0. If your group plays real sets, switch the game's scoring to Sets and enter the set score (first to 6, 7–5 from 5–5, tie-break at 6–6), or count games won. Whatever method a night used, the all-time board stays comparable.
Who is allowed to record scores?
Group admins and whoever posted the game can always score. They can also hand scoring to any player for one game: on the game screen, … → Assign Scorers. Everyone else sees the same live screen, read-only.
What happens when more players show up than court spots?
The schedule spreads the sit-outs evenly — with nine players on two courts, nobody sits twice while somebody else has never sat. If a game is full, extra players join a waiting list and are promoted automatically the moment someone drops out.
Where is my group's data stored?
In your own iCloud. Groups, games, scores and chat sync through your Apple ID's private CloudKit database and are shared only with the people you invited. ZaatarLABS runs no server in that path and never sees your data.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone on iOS 26 or later, signed in to iCloud. Sharing a group with other people requires each of them to be signed in to their own iCloud account.
