The video follows one demonstration clinic through a working day. Every screen is the current app, recorded on iPhone, iPad and the web; the Mac app has the same sidebar and screens as the iPad.
1. Add a patient
On Patients, tap + and enter the name and a phone number, then Save Patient. Every patient has a 3D tooth chart you can turn with a finger.
2. Procedures and diagnoses
Tap a tooth on the chart, choose the treatment and tap Save Procedure: the treatment appears on the tooth and in the patient’s procedures. Diagnosis Reports keep each visit’s findings with the teeth and procedures they concern.
3. Treatment plans and estimates
From the patient’s menu, open Treatment Plan. Each planned procedure has its teeth and price, and the total, with tax and any discount, is the estimate. Share turns the plan into a PDF with your clinic’s details, ready to print or send.
4. Appointments
On the patient, tap the calendar button, then + and Save Appointment. There is no separate calendar screen: the Dashboard lists the upcoming appointments day by day, and Remind sends the reminder by WhatsApp or Messages. On iPad and Mac the sidebar also shows today’s appointments.
5. Bills and payments
Select a patient’s unbilled procedures and tap Create Bill. Send the bill as a PDF by email, WhatsApp or Messages, and Record Payment when the patient pays.
6. Reports
Revenue, profit and procedures, month by month and day by day, with a tap into the bills behind any bar.
7. On any computer
In the app’s Settings, turn on Web access. Then open dentist.zaatarlabs.com in any browser, a Windows PC at the front desk included, and sign in with your Apple Account: it is the same clinic, from your iCloud.
