A tooth chart is most useful when it shows what was actually done. In Smart Dentist, the procedures you record appear as 3D treatments on the patient's teeth: a crown sits on the tooth you charted, a bridge spans its supporting teeth, braces follow the arch you selected, and an extracted tooth leaves a gap.
What the chart shows
- Restorations: fillings on the recorded surfaces, crowns in ceramic, metal or gold, veneers, posts and root canal treatment.
- Replacements: implants with their crowns, bridges with supporting and replacement teeth, and dentures.
- Orthodontics and appliances: braces across the selected teeth, sealants and guards.
- Extractions: the tooth is shown as missing on the current chart; its history stays in the record.
Adult and child charts are both available. The same catalog procedure adapts to the tooth you choose, so a filling does not need separate adult and child entries.
These are schematic treatment illustrations to help you review a patient's record. They do not replace radiographs, clinical examination or your professional judgment.
Where you see it
The 3D chart appears on the patient's record and in Quick View. The same treatments show in patient lists, treatment plans, billing and exported PDFs, so the chart you review is the chart you share.
Rotate the chart to inspect any side, tap a tooth to see or add its procedures, and double-tap to open or close the jaw.
Set it up once, keep your prices
Each procedure in your catalog has a 3D look. Choose it once, for example a ceramic crown or a gold crown, and every time you record that procedure the chart shows it. Prices, payments and existing patient records stay exactly as they are.
New clinics start from a starter library: activate the procedures you perform by setting your own price. Existing clinics can review their catalog from Settings → Procedures → Review procedure visuals.
